today's digipak |
As a group we didn't achieve as much progress as we had hoped to do in today's lesson. As it was a double lesson, we decided to edit on two machines, with Cameron adding effects to all of our Studio shots, and myself and Alex working on editing and digipak ideas - in the end, Alex worked predominantly on Premier and I spent most of the lesson on Photoshop.
We decided early in the lesson to run with Alex's shade of red throughout the
digipak, whilst I also added his piece onto the digipak
template. After my computer froze, I decided to focus my efforts on looking into more digipak ideas. I drew up a draft back cover, which requires me to
manipulate an image and text - therefore making the work my own creation. I can use the photographs I have taken of emergency exit signs and rearrange the text to creat a sign such as 'in case of emergency'.
I like the idea that you drew out to me and explained to me in class I think it would be very effective and it also takes another spin on the emergency exit signs ofwhich we had been doing, it fits in well.
