Monday's lesson was a very useful one for us; after a difficult half time, we watched the footage back and were impressed with a number of shots. the main problem we had was synchronising each shot to the part of the song with which it corresponded, but so far this process has not hindered our progress. Another problem that Miss Fernandez brought up was the fact that we have a number of midshots and need to focus more on close ups - of instruments, objects, the lead singer - next time we shoot.
We have also decided to shoot the performance in the drama studio during our double lesson tomorrow (Thursday 3rd November), and will hopefully be filming the rest of our footage in Brighton on the Sunday.
When we filmed in Brighton we made sure of the more close-ups and rather than just using similar movement in shots we also had handicam footage.
