AT: Digipak Update Font

As a group on the we have established our font and below is the example of it. We may manipulate the font and move it round and change the colour other than that this is the typography we chose.

We chose the font as it is similar to their other fonts and want to have continuity within the albums. Also the colour of the font as we agreed in class was a deep red as it is iconic in the albums we have looked at and evidence of this of which we have commented on in our moodboard.

Furthermore, upon looking more into the positioning of the font we are undecided in order to break conventions of the dominant reading path or to conform to these conventions. Personally I am infavour of breaking conventions due to conform to indie conventions.

  1. The font is similar to the style of the Pigeon Detectives other album artwork and advertisements this fits with the star brand and keeps continuity.
